I wonder if i ever had influenced, altered and had any effect on your life.
Completed the bestselling novel-turned movie One Day. It describes of a man and a woman who met each other in Uni and spent a day on graduation day. Following after, they only met once a year, on 15July, for the next 20 years. Just like that woman, sometimes i feel that im stagnant. Though im constantly running, i feel that im always running on the spot. I cant feel that im advancing or ive improved. Maybe i did, but it’s so minor that i cant even feel it.
A month since ive stayed in college. Wider and broader horizon for me, but there’s just a damn but in this life. I dont know what it is, but that essence is missing.
Yes, life is interesting when you can just travel to newcastle or even london and wales every week, or to barcelona or paris during term breaks. But life can be a tad empty too if you are constantly trying to keep up with th fun when your body is not mentally in tuned for it.
Ive always live in a protected environment, even when im in college. Friends are always there to protect me and guide me.
Maybe some wont understand, especially since th pace of life here is much slower.
I have a conflicting mindset now. To either continue and push myself, go with the flow and motion; or to stop at my tracks, think and resulting me to stay stagnant for a quite while.
On a side note, away from my heavy burdened topic, am so glad that my hk friends will be coming to visit me next summer. So yay. And parents are pre booking another trip for me to seoul/switzerland. How sweet of them when they asked me if i wanted an iphone4s or a dslr. And how dumb of me to turn that offer down. Hahaha.
