School work is piling up, gotta write 2 essays- 2000 words each by december, and all the recommended textbooks are so difficult to comprehend. I know this is uni life. But as school gets tougher, life here gets more interesting as well.
Tmr: Bonfire night- where people put off fire works.
11Nov: Black tie formal dinner event
17-20Nov: Lumiere lights in durham city (where designers designed the night lights in durham).
December: head to Harrogates for bettys, london for christmas and countdown.

Weather is extremely unpredictable. Sometimes it is 4 degrees (real feel 1 degree), other times, it is like 12 degrees (real feel 10 degrees).

I wonder if i ever had influenced, altered and had any effect on your life.

Completed the bestselling novel-turned movie One Day. It describes of a man and a woman who met each other in Uni and spent a day on graduation day. Following after, they only met once a year, on 15July, for the next 20 years. Just like that woman, sometimes i feel that im stagnant. Though im constantly running, i feel that im always running on the spot. I cant feel that im advancing or ive improved. Maybe i did, but it’s so minor that i cant even feel it.

A month since ive stayed in college. Wider and broader horizon for me, but there’s just a damn but in this life. I dont know what it is, but that essence is missing.

Yes, life is interesting when you can just travel to newcastle or even london and wales every week, or to barcelona or paris during term breaks. But life can be a tad empty too if you are constantly trying to keep up with th fun when your body is not mentally in tuned for it.

Ive always live in a protected environment, even when im in college. Friends are always there to protect me and guide me.

Maybe some wont understand, especially since th pace of life here is much slower.
I have a conflicting mindset now. To either continue and push myself, go with the flow and motion; or to stop at my tracks, think and resulting me to stay stagnant for a quite while.

On a side note, away from my heavy burdened topic, am so glad that my hk friends will be coming to visit me next summer. So yay. And parents are pre booking another trip for me to seoul/switzerland. How sweet of them when they asked me if i wanted an iphone4s or a dslr. And how dumb of me to turn that offer down. Hahaha.

Went to middlesbrough-primark to shop. And while waiting for th cab, we were freezing in th cold air. It was supposedly 9 degrees, but it feels like 4 degrees. Maybe w th cold wind, it makes everyone feels like winter.
Oh well, im still wondering if it is still autumn or winter-.-

New insight into marketing. My prof is really good.
Well, honestly, i didnt read much on marketing last night. Guilty. But, i got her concept. And i start to realise that whatever i studied before where actually considered traditional marketing, not postmodern/new marketing- or at least in th eu/uk concept.
This is really cool; seeing how the same theory that has been taught to millions of students or has been published thousands of times have been debated- and there are flaws to this theory. How amazing that just after one lecture, i can see a whole new era of marketing unfold before me. All th stp, 4ps, and PLC have become a debatable topic- that we start to see flaws in them and not just absorb whatever that was written in published textbooks.

Side track-
While reading my textbook, which is so amazing because i never read textbooks unless exams are nearing, the fall of msn came to me. If you realised, msn is no longer the social networking trend anymore. Together w whatsapp/bbm/fbchat/skype, it has seemed that msn is redundant on anyone’s desktop/gadget.

I know, i have not been blogging for quite a while. I have always wanted to blog and maintain this online journal but it is so hard. I am always distracted. Either that, or i am always so sleepy whenever i intend to blog.

This is England.
This is the life ive always dream of- to study in England. How awesome is that.
Friends here are so friendly and nice.
4th day of since i stayed in college, and we’ve cooked so many times. Even invited friends from other blocks or levels to our kitchen to eat. Well, of course we cook chinese food. HAHA.

So glad.

Cant believe everything is happening before my eyes.
Ive moved on faster than i thought i could.
Im going to commit to be here for the next 3-7 years
Im living a life without my parents.
Im going to celebrate christmas with snow.
Im going to travel with friends during vacation- like heading to london this xmas
My first time washing, cutting and cooking red and white meat.

We dont need to prove to anyone anything. Not even showing how popular you are by th number of outings you have per week, or by the number of comments you receive via fb or twitter. Neither do you have to prove your worth. Only time shows one’s credibility, but trying hard to prove your worth is a waste of time.
Because eventually, you’ll realise, nobody cares. Nobody does. Everyone is caught up with their own life.
Who knows that while youre struggling and trying to get attention of your peers, your friends are doing the same thing.

Anyway, ive reactivated my twitter account. Like finally. It is just normal, but i find it really lame when some people tweet about every single movement that happens in their life. Really.

One more day left before i fly. Sigh.

Actually I did wonder. In fact, was very curious.
To th extent, I even dreamt of it just nao when I was taking an afternoon nap.
But I think, in life, it’s good to leave some questions unanswered.
Sometimes, who knows, ignorance can be the greatest blessing.
Sometimes, even a mere guessing game is even more fun and enjoyable than knowing a truth that may destroy a portion of your happiness’ dosage.

6 more days before I leave here for 2011. Halloween and xmas will be spent there. Mostly partying. Which was th reason why I didn’t hit zouk last fri in th end.
Yesterday, we even discussed of flying to germany end of this year. But I think we were so caught up w travelling that we’ve forgotten to include costs into consideration!
